Join us at Vine to Glass this Saturday, September 26th, at 6pm for a meet and greet artists reception with Barbara McDonald. Wine, beer and tastings will be available for purchase as well as appetizers.

Barbara McDonald creates one-of-a-kind wall sculptures in steel on board, sometimes with stained glass embellishments. Her style has been described as “painting with a plasma cutter.” Although she grew up in the home of a classically trained artis, her father, Barbara did not find her personal artistic obsession until well into her sixties, when she enrolled in a class on metal fabrications. Many of the pieces are multi-layered on brilliantly colored backgrounds and her themes are generally cosmic or at least other-worldly.
